SC CHEM is a family-owned, family-run company built around one core focus: Helping clients solve complex chemical sourcing challenges. Through a sourcing-first model, we connect customers to vetted global partners, manage supplier relationships, and support projects from initial inquiry through delivery, all with highly personalized service.
In many ways, SC CHEM reflects the career and values of its founder, Frank Fisher. Trained as an organic chemist and holding a Ph.D. from Duke University, Frank spent more than three decades navigating the technical, commercial, and relationship-driven realities of the global chemical industry.
Over the course of his career, Frank led sourcing and manufacturing initiatives across more than 20 countries, managing over $1 billion in cumulative sourcing spend. Just as important, he built lasting relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and partners around the world.
SC CHEM was founded to bring that experience into a more agile, relationship-driven model, one where clients don’t have to manage multiple vendors or navigate complex supply chains alone. As Frank puts it:

Owner & CEO
Frank Fisher, PhD is a highly accomplished organic chemist, senior executive, and entrepreneur with over 35 years of experience leading businesses to success. As the founder and CEO of both SC CHEM and Fisher Specialty Advising, and COO of Duralayer LLC, Frank brings a wealth of knowledge in international sourcing, contract manufacturing, supply chain design, and R&D. His impressive career includes key roles at The Dow Chemical Company and Milliken & Company, where he honed his expertise in negotiation and business strategy across four continents. Frank's passion for innovation and his deep understanding of the chemical industry make him a driving force in the companies he leads.
Maria Batista
Vice President of Sales
Maria Batista is a highly experienced professional with a proven track record in corporate customer lifecycle management, sales, and finance. Fluent in multiple languages, she brings more than 10 years of experience in the petrochemical and manufacturing industries, with a deep understanding of international business requirements. Her MBA and strong customer focus make her a valuable asset in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Colleen leverages her expertise in contract negotiations, logistics, marketing, and business development to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction. Amanda Stockton
Operations Leader
Amanda Stockton is the Operations Leader at SC CHEM, supporting customer-focused operations with a strong emphasis on execution, reliability, and operational excellence. She oversees logistics and supply chain coordination, working closely with customers, suppliers, carriers, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth and timely order fulfillment.

Sarah Schütte brings over 14 years of dynamic sales leadership and chemical engineering expertise from Milliken Chemical to our innovative team. With a BS in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University and an MBA from the University of South Carolina's Moore School of Business, she excels in revenue acceleration, customer segmentation, and cross-functional strategies that optimize growth in the specialty chemicals sector.
At SC CHEM, she drives sales initiatives to enhance our global sourcing and custom manufacturing, delivering tailored solutions that empower partners worldwide.
Lezlie Luceus
Sales Manager
Lezlie Luceus brings nearly four decades of experience in the colorant and specialty chemical industry to her role as Sales Manager at SC CHEM. Her background spans technical sales and management, formulation support, regulatory compliance, and long-term customer partnerships across a wide range of markets, including agrochemicals, household and industrial cleaning (HI&I), car care, food, and personal care.
Throughout her career, Lezlie has been deeply involved in helping customers navigate complex formulation and sourcing challenges, building trusted relationships grounded in technical knowledge and practical problem-solving. In addition to her work in traditional specialty chemicals, she has spent more than 20 years working with plant-based oils, natural aromatic compounds, and bio-based ingredients, an area of specialty chemistry that continues to evolve rapidly.
At SC CHEM, Lezlie collaborates closely with clients and internal teams to support sourcing strategies and deliver solutions aligned with performance, regulatory, and application requirements.
