Glycol ether PPH
Phenyl Propylene Glycol Ether
CAS # 770-35-4
Glycol Ether PPH is a very effective carrier solvent used in many applications, but primarily in textile dyes and ink applications. It is slow-evaporating and very hydrophobic which makes it ideal for coalescing. It has the added benefit of both functioning as a dye carrier and a dye solubilizer. Glycol Ether PPH is excellent for phenolic coatings and as a coalescent for acrylic-based latexes. Alternatively, it can be used for its viscosity reduction properties in metalworking fluids.
