Dr. Frank Fisher to Deliver Keynote at 14th ICIS World Chemical Purchasing Conference

SC CHEM is proud to announce that its Founder and CEO, Dr. Frank Fisher, will be the keynote speaker at the 14th ICIS World Chemical Purchasing Conference. The event will be held December 4–5, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency in Jersey City, New Jersey.
A recognized expert in organic chemistry, executive leadership, and entrepreneurship, Dr. Fisher brings more than 30 years of industry experience to the stage. His presentation, “Sourcing Specialty Chemicals with a Rapidly Changing Supply Base,” will explore strategies for navigating the global disruptions facing today’s procurement leaders—including tariffs, supply chain volatility, sustainability demands, and geopolitical uncertainty.
“I’m excited to speak at this year’s ICIS World Chemical Purchasing Conference,” said Dr. Fisher. “I’ll be discussing the evolving landscape of specialty chemical sourcing and how companies can better navigate disruptions and adapt to change.”
Dr. Fisher emphasized the importance of industry collaboration, especially as procurement professionals face increasing pressure from global disruptions. “In today’s market, procurement faces challenges from tariffs, supply volatility, and sustainability demands. Geopolitical factors require increased consideration. This conference serves as a platform for the industry to come together, share strategies, and acquire the tools necessary to navigate global disruptions," said Dr. Fisher.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Fisher has held leadership roles at The Dow Chemical Company and Milliken & Company. He is also the founder of SC CHEM and Fisher Specialty Advising, and currently serves as COO of Duralayer LLC. He holds a PhD in Chemistry and is frequently invited to speak on topics related to R&D, negotiation, and supply chain strategy.
