Vinati's antioxidant plant is located in Mahad, India and is the world's largest antioxidant manufacturing plant specializing in Primary (Phenolic) Antioxidants 1010, 1076, 1098, 1135 and Secondary (Phosphite) Antioxidant 168.

These phenolic and phosphite antioxidants cater to a multitude of industries. They are important chemicals in safeguarding plastics, coatings, and adhesives against degradation and enhancing the longevity of polymers, leather, textiles and elastomers. Antioxidants play a pivotal role in maintaining the quality of performance for various materials. With Vinati Organics' commitment to excellence and continuous innovation, these antioxidants significantly contribute to numerous chemical applications worldwide.

Through this partnership, SC Chem can offer cost and quality advantages compared to other phenolic and phosphite antioxidants in the market. Vinati specializes in vertical production, as these chemical compounds are completely made in-house and at the highest quality state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. They are also dedicated to the research and develop of new environmentally friendly chemicals and achieving high standards of purity.

What are these Antioxidants?

  • VEENOX® 1010 (CAS: 6683-19-8): This compound is a sterically hindered phenolic antioxidant. It is a highly effective, non-discoloring stabilizer for organic substrates such as plastics, synthetic fibers, elastomers and adhesives. It protects these substrates against thermal and oxidative degradation. Commonly used in the automotive and packaging industries, it ensures that products retain their physical and mechanical properties over time, even under exposure to heat and light.

  • VEENOX® 1076 (CAS: 2082-79-3): This compound exhibits outstanding antioxidant efficiency. Effectively neutralizing free radicals and inhibiting oxidation in materials. This property ensures long-term stability and protection against thermo-oxidative degradation, making it a preferred choice for diverse applications. One of the standout features of Veenox 1076 is its remarkable thermal stability. Even under elevated temperatures, it remains effective in safeguarding materials, making it suitable for applications subjected to extreme heat and processing conditions. Common applications include automotive parts, packaging materials, and consumer goods, where durability and longevity are critical.

  • VEENOX® 168 (CAS: 31570-04-4): This compound is a hydrolytically stable phosphite processing stabilizer. Veenox 168 reacts during processing with hydroperoxides formed by autoxidation of polymers preventing process induced degradation and extending the performance of primary antioxidants. Antioxidant 168, boasts exceptional properties that make it a highly sought-after solution for industries looking to protect their materials from degradation caused by exposure to heat, light, and other environmental factors.

  • VEENOX® 1098 (CAS: 23128-74-7): This compound is a sterically hindered phenolic specifically suited for the stabilization of polyamide molded parts, fibers, and films. It is a highly effective, non-discoloring stabilizer for organic substrates such as plastics, synthetic fibers, elastomers and adhesives. It protects these substrates against thermal and oxidative degradation. From the polymer and plastic industry to fiber or rubber manufacturing, adhesives, sealants, coatings, paints, lubricants, and more, Veenox 1098 remains vital for achieving durable and high-quality materials.

  • VEENOX® 1135 (CAS: 125643-61-0): This compound is a 100% active, liquid sterically hindered phenolic antioxidant for polyols, polyurethanes, and other polymers. With its bright liquid form, this antioxidant is easy to handle, boasting low volatility for enhanced safety and convenience. This makes it especially useful in polymer manufacturing and processing of the neat liquids, emulsions, suspensions, leathers, solutions or melts like PVC stabilizer, rubber, lubricants etc.

  • VEENOX® 1315 (171090-93-0): VEENOX 1315 is used in polyether and polyester polyols for polyurethane foams used for storage and scorch protection in applications like furniture, bedding, automotive, etc. It can also be used as an antioxidant for polymers like PVC, ABS, SBR, BR and NBR. Antioxidant 1315 provides lower overall volatility under higher temperature conditions which extends the effective usage range for the lubricant application.
